this would explain why nothing is announced. we aren't going to fire the guy if he has the chance to land another gig.

Canada isn't going to take a job at Rutgers that pays 600k and not get anything from LSU.
He's going to want to get fired from LSU to get his money.

It's been implied that they're letting Canada shop himself around. And if Ensminger is ultimately named the replacement, the internet will break because of the TD melt.

If it was anyone else I'd disagree with you because they supposedly have cause to terminate him, but these assclowns couldn't manage a flea farm so we'll probably just bend over and give him the $3MM so we don't have to air the dirty laundry.

I’m no lawyer but I imagine that our case for firing for Cause is significantly hurt by the fact that we have not fired him yet m. If you have cause to fire somebody then that implies that it is so bad that they cannot continue working
