Clay Helton had to fire Tee Martin to save his job. Now he’s our offensive savior.
Give me a fricking break

I’ll withhold judgement until anything is finalized but I don’t see how Ed could sell tee as OC

Yeh that would be an awful hire
I’m sticking with David Johnson as Recruiting Co/WR coach
Faulk to RBs
Not sure what happens with Mickey

I got that information over a month ago and was told that nothing was finalized by any means. It could have been an option they were throwing around at the time. I haven’t spoken to my source about this since then. The things he was sure of was that Martin would almost definitively be on staff next year (told me likely as OC) and that they were trying to get a dedicated QB could ache of some sorts (I’m assuming ole Dickpics is that guy from what others are saying).

Martin wont be OC. He is supposed to just take the passing game coordinator / WR coach like Sullivan was.
So NO co-OC for 2019?
Gah damn, talk about not even trying to get better. CEO must really feel good about his position going into his 3rd season.

A staff of Tee as OC and the used car salesman is about my nightmare scenario for the staff. I’m just going to get drunk to erase my memory of reading this

What will be the company line for the introduction of O’s third OC in 3 years?

I think joseph stays. He is a very good recruiter. Tee martin is a nice pickup
Yes, a nice pickup if continued 8-4/9-3/3rd Pace in the SEC West is the ultimate goal for the LSU football program.
TeeAngelo got fired at USC for a reason. Yeah, lets hire him at LSU because he can recruit.

From an outside perspective, I don't understand why Sean Salisbury is even in the conversation. If Wikipedia is accurate he's never even been a coach. Where did his name come from?

Hes buddies with Coach O. Simple as that.
This "Hire your Friends" BS will not produce Championships.
Hiring a Staff full of "Great Recruiters that can't Coach" (The Anti/Opposite Saban Technique) will not work!
Prove me wrong on the field...….

Nobody on the coaching staff gives a frick about your opinion. Coach O has a good group of coaches. Tee and Salisbury will be good additions to the staff.

I agree Ben. Tee is an outstanding recruiter and competent receiver coach. Salisbury played pro ball for a long time and has been an NFL analyst for years so he knows some stuff too. I think he gets a bad rap over the penis picture incident. Frankly I don't see why that's wrong. Nobody probably even told him that was wrong. I mean, if he had known that was wrong...

I'm hanging in there. I sleep a lot. Chemo is rough. Ignore my last post in the other thread. I was still pissed about your troll post here.

No worries man. Bigger things in life for sure.
Praying for you brother.
I actually think Salisbury and Martin would be good additions. Concerned about the offense but nothing we can do other than talk crap on a message board you know? I'll still go and cheer like hell

Tee would be a great addition to the staff the dude is one of the best WR coaches in college football. And maybe I’m wrong here but wasn’t usc starting a guy at QB this year that still should have been in high school. Pretty sure they had a good offense the last 2 years but struggled this year with a true freshmen and injuries at the QB position.

That USC QB is going to be legit

quote:Not going to say this is bad, good or anywhere in between. But I will say that if Orgeron isn't shopping around for an OC right now... and we fail to score points on Alabama again next year... O has done himself in.
Expect Tee Martin to be on staff next year. He will take Sullivan’s spot.
FCS schools and Arkansas and Auburn and Ole Miss and everyone else can put points on the board against Alabama but we can't... that should tell us all that something needs to change.
O's recruiting is fricking stellar, and I'll admit that he has surpassed my expectations of what he'd do here as HC. I would like to see him stay for those reasons, and continuity. But he's gotta realize he's just Miles 2.0 if he doesn't fix the offense.

This is the best aspect of the O experiment. Even if he fails, the cupboard should stay stocked for any ultimate successor.
