Let's for the sake of argument consider this a serious question and not the excrement it actually is.
If there was a chance that DeBoer was going to decamp from Bama and go to Happy Valley, Jimmy Sexton would already know about it and would have, if Lane wanted that job, told him to stick it out in Oxford for the playoff. Would have saved Lane a lot of grief.
