The spread zone read worked awesome for us when we had fenroy and desormeaux, we rushed for over 300 yards a game. Bustle just couldn't recruit anyone in Louisiana and all of his players got hurt every year.

based on what kind of talent you can recruit in LA, you have to have some sort of running/option offense

just like what i said about MSU under croom...you gotta create a system around what the state produces

Since Bustle is gone, we should go after Troy Wingerter (OL coach) to come to LSU. Heard he is a beast with the OL kids there and a pretty good recruiter.

That's why I want Mark Hudspeth as head coach.

Wow, I didn't know Coach O was making a million per at USC.

I figured maybe half that.

I'm sure the idea of being a 1A HC, even at a mid-major, would be attractive to him, especially back in his old stomping grounds--

But yeah, he's probably priced himself out. No way ULL pays that much--unless I'm hugely surprised--and no way he takes that kind of a pay cut.

He was the head coach who built North Alabama, where Bowden is at. Then he took a spot at Mississippi State so he could get an FBS job.

Oops. Forgive me.

You were talking about Hudspeth, not Orgeron.

Google said he is Miss St wr coach. You are speaking of Hudspeth. Unless you are talkign about Wingerter, he is currently at ULL.

Hudspeth was the heaed coach at North Alabama before he went to Miss St. He built their program up pretty well (Terry Bowden is there now).

Three names that would do well with limited facilities and budget:

Mitch Ware
DeAndre Smith
Del Miller

A fourth name would be John Bond

He's a position coach/recruiting coordinator. I find it extremely hard to believe he makes more than 99% of the OCs/DCs in the country. Link?

He's the "Defensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator/Assistant Head Coach" that's how he's making so much. I believe Monte is making 1.3 mil or so as "Defensive Head Coach".

What does ULL pay 350K per year? This would be a good time for ULL to move to AA or whatever league McNeese is in so they can at least compete and win some games.
