I don't really get the infatuation with Briles, to be honest.

Brady, hungry for redemption, paired with Kelly for tutelage is a home run, imo.

Did well at Baylor, FAU, and Arkansas.

Congrats to Joe. That was a little unexpected.

Brady will more than likely be Miami's OC. He is from that area.

Briles to me seems very vanilla.

It's almost like he will run the same plays over and over again and just try to run tempo.

You can think Brady is better than Briles but to say you don't understand why people think Briles is a good offensive coach is either naïve or dishonest

Fact.

Opinion.

How would you compare Kelly and Ensminger as mentors for young offensive coaches?

maybe Briles can do more with better talent, but i wasn't impressed with the games i watched this year.

And i never liked Bradys system, spread them out and hope one guy beats his man? Half the time no Rb in the back field to even make LBs check before going in pass coverage. hard pass.

2017 FAU
41 ppg, 498 ypg, 6.8 ypp

2018 Houston
44 ppg, 512 ypg, 6.6 ypp

2021 Arkansas
31.5 ppg, 440 ypg, 6.4 ypp

He didn't do great in his 1 year at FSU or his first at Arkansas, but he was also taking over for complete disaster situations. He also immensely improved Arkansas' offense in just 1 year

which games did you watch?

Arkansas did whatever they wanted against Texas, beat a good A&M defense, did whatever they wanted against Ole Miss, lost a shootout against Alabama, etc. The only bad game they had was against Georgia and us. And that Arkansas team played way beyond their expectations.

Briles would be fine. Brady returning with E still on staff as a consultant would be FAR better.
