I'm going to wait to hire a coordinator to make sure it fits with what 3rd string units i see running practice for a meaningless bowl game with coaches that won't be back?

And if that’s true, it’s not a catastrophe
#1, I didn't say it was a catastrophe.
#2, I don't remember anyone saying it was a catastrophe.
#3, In what world is "not a catastrophe" an acceptable benchmark for performance?

The dead period ends something like Jan 10-11 day after the NCG iirc. He really doesn’t need anyone before then
So, he needs his coordinators by Jan 11?

But the NFL coaching carousel hasn’t started yet, that could have ripple effects for potential candidates.
So, are you insinuating that he's waiting for the carousel to start turning before he identifies his candidates?

Why you so mad Chad? This isnt your thread so stop trying to hijack it baw. GTFO if you don’t care for this conversation. You clearly won’t be missed

there is zero anger in this thread. But your claim that i'm mad is just another coping mechanism in dealing with the truth being shed light on. i'm here to support you in any way i can but i can't shun the truth.

I’m really not sure what your point is then if you don’t think it’s a bad thing that LSU hasn’t announced coordinators yet. Never mind that Florida hasn’t either and USC hasn’t announced an OC. (Grinch followed Riley as DC.)

Not necessarily but he doesn’t need them Dec 22. Jan 11 is still 3 weeks away some time before the Feb NSD would be best so I would guess he’ll have someone that week of Jan 11 if not before

No, I’m not sure why you keep thinking he hasn’t identified candidates just because the public doesn’t know. Most coaches have lists of people they would be interested in for certain jobs all the time. I guarantee you he has not only identified candidates, has reached out to some (we know this for a fact with Rees) at least thru back door channels aka agents.
What I mean is say Denbrock is the guy he wants, he was coaching in the CCG and now the playoff so he wasn’t going to leave Cincinnati until after the season was done. Now what if the Bears hire Ryan Day and Ohio St hires Fickle. Maybe Denbrock becomes HC at Cincinnati (like Freeman at ND) that’s the ripple effect I mean
Now please note, contrary to ranttard logic, that doesn’t mean he’d be scrambling and back to square one. He’s already aware of whatever scenarios could play out and would have another candidate

Good post.
This isn't CBK's first rodeo. Has to be a reason the coordinators haven't been announced. If available, no need to stay silent.
The recruiting shortfalls will hurt but only for a while.

You think any coach has cared what the fans "think"

Yes. Our last one made hires based on it

Y’all are blind if you didn’t see Ree and O wanting to know everything we were thinking over here. Yes, competent coaches would not worry what we think about which is why I’m excited we finally have one. Coping…on!!

Usc has and i don't think napier is going with an oc.

I could be wrong, but I thought the OC news for USC was much the same as the “news” for LSU. Sources have identified the A&M OL coach as the target to become the USC OC, but nothing has been formally announced. As to Napier, he had an OC at ULL so I don’t know why he wouldn’t have one at Florida.

Get out of here man. This is a thread for idiots to panic

Even this is grossly overrated. Kelly was hired 2 weeks before the ESD. The OC/DC would make no discernible difference. Besides the coordinators are not the primary recruiters. He hired Frank Wilson as RC and filled some position coach spots. They’ll have basically a month to work on some guys for Feb and hit the portal. The important recruiting classes will be 23 and 24
