if there are any AU fans in here or just fans in the know, how is malzahn as a recruiter? do you think he can come in and recruit against bama and LSU off the bat?
this isn't meant as demeaning, i know chiz had some great classes at AU.

There's so much talent in W Ga and E AL, anyone can bring in 5-15 ranked classes at AU. It's just how hard you try.

Yea he'll be able to, especially if he keeps BVG and Trooper. I just don't like the hire.

Gus has way more upside. (And more downside.) However, I'd take Gus. At least recruits want to play in his offense.

Arkansas is grabbing a coach that has no experience recruiting in the south and they will be changing offensive styles. It's risky but he can coach we know that.
