I do not believe that this is anywhere close to correct. They changed the letter of intent rules to allow any player to transfer once without consequence....
When we first lined up to go for two in overtime, Alabama had 12 players on the field in information with the snap imminent. That’s an automatic dead-ball call. ...

The constitution does not apply to the NCAA, because it is a private, voluntary entity. (The U.S. Supreme Court held this in the Tarkanian lawsuit against the NCAA.) So, yes, the NCAA can make and apply retroactive rules....
I learned a long time ago not to even think about the salary cap. Our front office has handled it adroitly for years and years. In addition, worrying about it (or even thinking about it) is not going to change anything....
