The better question is if Bielema was on the market, why didn't Auburn offer him? I think he could have been an excellent fit at Auburn with the smash mouth style.

Neither is close to a home run.

Bielema seems to be a better hire to me. Has experience as a head coach, winning at a BCS school, albeit Wisconsin.

Malzahn not so much.

I am not convinced that it is a given that Bielema a defensive guy by trade brings The Wisconsin offense with him to Arkansas

I actually think Gus has more upside. I'm not sure Bielema is programmed for the SEC.

I definitely think the ceiling is a lot high for Gus.

Can we really even define Bielema's style of offense yet?

Yeah, getting a HC who has had four 10+ win seasons in the last 5 years and 3 straight BCS bowls in a major conference isn't a home run. lulz

Run-first, traditional pro-style.

Are you really going to get that happy over a 7-5 Wisconsin team this year?

Let's also not forget that last year he had Russell Wilson.

If a guy has just had 4 straight 10+ win seasons, I can live with an 8-5 season.

The motherfricker already cried about Meyer's recruiting up there. And he's going to cut it in the SEC? Please.

So he doesn't get to count wins from QB's that transfer in? Did Les win 0 games this year because he had Mett?

I didn't realize that Mett played D1 as a starter for three years in the ACC throwing for about 8,000 yards with about 75 touchdowns and another 1,000 on the ground.
