I can’t stop watching that

I mean, they fired Tommy Tuberville, a far better coach than Gus, only to hire a 5-19 coach from Iowa State.
I wouldn't say this is out of the realm of possibility for Auburn.

You buying this Auburn fans?
LSU did this in 2016. It was a position coach instead of a coordinator in our case.

There is absolutely no way they paid a 21 million dollar buyout to hire Steele. This is Steele trying to get consideration. I truly believe they have already agreed with a coach
I feel we all said this about Miles and Orgeron.

People give ad’s waaay too much credit. They’re not as smart as we think they are.

People believe this
Auburn has terrible insiders btw I wouldn’t pay attention to anything that’s said

Probably.
But Orgeron at least had a good stint at USC to show he had potential as a HC.
Steele only has some of the worst seasons in CFB history.

You just gave away your age. The sad thing is I know exactly what your saying and it’s true.

LSU did it with Miles/O

Meh, he lost to ND and UCLA, the two games that matter most to USC folks. And when he was interim for LSU, he got shutout by Bama, and blew a potential Sugar Bowl berth against Florida. Steele hasn't had the opportunity to audition in an interim role before.
I don't know anything about Allen Greene, but I can't imagine he'd be as inept as Alleva was conducting a coaching "search".

This is smoke so the fans will be happy when Freeze and his Christian hookers step off the plane

Crepea, a former Auburn beat writer, is saying no way Cristobal goes to AU. He’s no on our beat.
Cristobal is on record as wanting to throat punch the guy though.

That would be crazy

Oh, Steele as Auburn HC is definitely happening.
Posted on 12/13/20 at 10:02 pm to bisonduck
His record was 1-31 in the Big 12; what's not to like?
Posted on 12/13/20 at 10:19 pm to bisonduck
If they paid 22 million to promote Kevin Steele, they get what they deserve.
