I don’t know. I don’t think him hunting with a former player means he’s stress free. It could mean he’s trying to destress.

What? Why the frick would I want the AD of my alma to fail at hiring a coach for a program I’m borderline obsessed with and contribute to significantly financially?
There is just as much smoke—if not more— to “Woodward struck out and is down to third tier coaches” than there is “Riley to LSU.” That doesn’t mean I’d be happy. That doesn’t mean I want that outcome.
Of course another possibility is he reeled in a big fish we aren’t focused on.

A lot of smoke with Stoops and it has me worried. We just snagged a 5 star WR last night and sounds like Ricks of LSU is transferring to UK. I think Stoops is using LSU to get recruits and transfers interested in UK.

Stoops gets a year automatically added when he wins 7 games. He is guaranteed till 2026 and makes over $5-6.5 million a year depending on wins.

You must not follow recruiting very closely. Ricks is going to OSU, Bama or UGA, not UK. He wants big NIL deals and he didn’t get them here thanks to Stingley cleaning up. He won’t make the big bucks playing football at UK, either.

Aranda sure hasn't. Neither has Riley. Both were very soft, non-denials. Typical coachspeak- "I'm the coach here, you all know where I stand, we're happy here"- yadda yadda yadda.
