Him getting paid isn’t going to help his budget for coaching staff, recruiting and facilities when the bottom falls out of their TV deal in the next year or two. Staying at any remaining B12 program would be a very short-sighted decision for anyone who cares about winning titles.

It may be selective hearing, but the times he denied it not once come off like one of the other ones saying they were staying.
There’s also been no mention of an extension or a raise from the OU side whatsoever either. Tucker, Franklin, and probably Aranda all have had extensions done and announced. Riley has been all over the rumor mill and he doesn’t even ask for a raise or one isn’t imminent?

If somehow we don't get either Aranda or Napier and end up with Stoops or O'Brian there will be legitimate backlash from the fanbase.
