Would be essentially the coaching mafia. I'm not advocating for Kiffin, but we would have far and away the most entertaining coaches in the collegiate ranks.

Why you people want Kiffin I have no idea. He is unstable and job hops around. I mean, I can't be the only one who sees this.

You’re not entirely wrong but he’s probably at a point in his life where he wants to settle down

And he’s also one of only a handful of candidates that would immediately get a buzz about LSU in the right direction again.

Why Kiffin? I put him tier 1.5.

Tier 1:
Fickell
Riley

Tier 1.5:
Kiffin

Tier 2:
Napier

Honestly who doesn’t job hop these days? Other than Saban, who is untouchable?

And Saban was a huge job hopper until he got to Bama

I said I wasn't advocating for him, just saying it would definitely be entertaining.

Either way, he has Ole Miss in the top 10. What do you think he could do with LSU's talent? He's one of the best offensive minds in the game. If you can get Riley then of course he's option 1, but Kiffin would do very well at LSU.

People are really stupid baw, especially on the rant. Idiocracy was not just a movie, it’s a prophecy.

He left Tennessee 13 years ago for USC. That's the only "job hop" he's done.

You need to do a little research. Leaving an OC position for a head coaching position and leaving a G5 head coaching position for a P5 head coaching position is not "job hopping" It's a natural coaching progression

Exactly, and he has already tasted the NFL and I doubt he goes back.

I am not the biggest Kiffin fan bc I am not sure how he will handle the early success he will probably have. Would we have another O on our hands that uses that success for vices that keeps his mind off of football.

Regardless, if we hire him I will for all for it because I know Scott will have done his due diligence to hire a coach that can build a sustainable program

Kiffin also recruited very well at Tennessee and USC, especially given USC were under major sanctions.

Woodward isn't making a legacy hire based on probably. He hasn't shown he's stable.

Kiffin will never happen. Let it go. The real decision makers at LSU know better than to hire that idiot. Is he a good OC? Yes. Is he a good head coach? No.

I've said this 100 times. If Kiffin accepted the job at LSU after the season, it would be a huge sign we should not have hired him. Dude is not loyal and leaves 2 years on the job and after 1 somewhat successful season at Ole Miss. Imagine how quick that guy would dump LSU if he won a championship here.

You can say it 1000 times. It's factually incorrect. He left Tennessee 12 years ago after 1 season. That is his only "job hopping" example. Every other move he made, he either was fired or moved up in the coaching ranks.

His record isn't that great either. USC should be a top tier program and in his best season he had 2 losses. He was 5-5 at ole miss last year and that was LSU too.

I don't see the reason for the love.

I would think better options are available.

Raiders - 2 years FIRED
USC - 4 years FIRED

UT - 1 YEAR BOLTS
BAMA - 3 YEARS BOLTS
FAU - 3 YEARS BOLTS
OLE MISS - 2 YEARS BOLTS

He is simply unreliable. Fired or Bolts. You pick. He's either unsuccessful and gets fired or he finds success and bolts. Kiffin would BOLT the second he won a championship OR we would crucify him after an 8-4 season and rally the troops to get him FIRED.

What a joke take. From Bama to Ole Miss he made normal/typical career progression moves.
