That's a natural coaching progression. No one would consider that "job hopping". Most high-level coaches have a similar record of jobs, if not more so.
Nick Saban left the Toledo head coaching job to be an assistant in the NFL after 1 season.
You can hate Lane Kiffin without making shite up.
