Alleva is 100% involved with the O.C. Selection.

The LSU Board of Supervisors does not trust O to hire the O.C. I've been conversing with a sports writer via email, and this was his comment.

Well hopefully it won't be Ensminger, he's got his place already.... Exactly where he is TE coach

I call bullsh*t! You mean to tell me the head coach has no say in who he is going to have to work with every single day?! GTFO.

Well I don't trust either one of dim bostids. I just hope Alleva gets it right. Who knows.

At least that sounds like O is not long term, which seems clear by Aranda contract already.

Is this coming from your cousin who thinks Brett Favre would jump on an offer as well?

Ok, I don't mean no say, so I'll qualify it with this. Alleva will be there every step of the way. That's how I took it. I'm not certain as to how much this writer knows. I mean how could I be. But I'm sure he gets info.

To bad Alleva and the Board of Supervisors did not apply the same common sense to hiring a new head coach because we wouldn't be stuck with Orgeron now!

I'm torn on this. If you let O promote Ensminger then we're not getting the best at OC. But if you let Alleva choose the OC, run into the possibility of having another Canada situation.

O wanted Ensminger. Alleva being in charge is actually better.

I don’t imagine Alleva would just hire someone because he was his favorite. I imagine their will be an agreement on who to hire. My guess is O brings candidates to Alleva and he says yes this person is an option or no we will not hire him.

What makes you think that's how it's going to go? This is the same guy who "made a coaching search" only to promote his buddy O to HC. For all you know he agrees with O on the situation he's just making it look like they searched for someone again only to promote the other good ole boy from within.

Alleva should make you very nervous doing any coaching searches.

Agreed. Alleva and O are very tight and even watch film together (according to Chris Landry). And yes, I know Chris Landry is surly and kind of a pecker, but I can believe what he said.
