Alleva might be a buffoon but I wonder if he's picked up on some of O's "quirks" and realized he's fricked. Assume Canada was an Alleva directive. Everything O did regarding Canada now looks like a giant frick you.

Well, I can't rule that out, but I'm still of the belief that Alleva and O are very dear friends. I really believe that.

Alleva did get it right with will wade.
And secondly, even if Alleva birthed Will Wade and raised him to be LSU's MBB HC, Alleva hired 2 failures before Wade. Getting 1 out of 3 right isn't something to be proud of as an AD.

O shouldn't hire Ensminger. The athletic director also shouldn't have any say so in the head coaches search for his coaching staff outside of "yes we can or no we can't hire this guy."
It's ridiculous. If you can't trust the guy you hired to fill out his own staff...why the hell was he hired in the first place?
