I rest my case re: your knowledge of what the frick you're talking about.

Assuming you meant Jimbo Fisher, you know, the guy who used to be an offensive coordinator here, an OC/HC-in-waiting when the other coach is about to croak and the program needs to assure possible recruits of its direction is nowhere near some imaginary situation at Notre Dame with a coach telling them to hold on for a year while he coaches elsewhere.

I have been kicked off of all the BAMA boards. If you say one negative word about BAMA, even if it is true, you are gone on most of the BAMA boards.

That is pretty sad. You have to try pretty hard to get banned from this place. FWIW, we are glad to have a reasonable Bama fan set up shop here.

...they are stalling. These interviews are to make this look legitimate while they talk to their real candidate behind the scenes. I think Meyer or Saban will be the coach at ND next year,

Ahhhh, welcome to the "Off Season with Saban Show". Be prepared to go through this every year. I mean you guys won't be happy until he says, "I will not be the next coach at FOOTBALL TEAM NAME HERE".

does anyone else think Kelly is a flash in the pan like rich rod?

His accomplishments so far remind me a lot of Meyer's resume before he went to Florida...not at all saying he will be that successful but the career paths and accomplishments are very similar. Brian Kelly resume

I think ND already knows who their coach is and it will be Saban or Meyer in my opinion. I think it is Meyer.

Man you gotta stop messing with us. You guys are set for a while at Bama. Florida is too. Stop rubbing it in.

Nope..ND wants someone with experience running a BCS program and strong recruiting background.

They went to the pros with Weis and we see how that turned out.

I think the only college job he (Saban) would consider leaving for is USC, if it came open.

Now that's out of left field....USC? when has Saban ever been linked to USC?

I have the same suspicion as you.
If it's between Meyer or Saban, I think it is likely Meyer. He's done what he can at UF and Tebow is gone. And he's not going to get by Alabama long as Saban's in charge there.

So the siren song of ND is not to be denied and Urban is about to become Irish.
