And they wonder why they haven’t won a conference in decades
Stoops would have been an excellent hire for A&M, glad the fans nixed it. He’d be really good with A&M’s resources. Now they’ll probably end up with Elko

Excellent?
He’s 35-55 in the SEC in 11 seasons when the East has been down most of that time, and their permanent cross-division is Mississippi State. They’ve finished above .500 twice in the SEC all of 2 times in 11 years, both were 5-3. Speaking of twice, that’s exactly how many times in 11 years they’ve finished in the top 25. His overall record is 73-64. He’s about as “meh” as it gets. You can’t give Jimbo $76 million to go away only to hire Mark fricking Stoops. As an LSU fan, you should HOPE they hire Stoops.

Also seems that bjork may have accepted a kick back from Jimmy Sexton whom was Fisher/Stoops agent which is why Stoops just popped up out of nowhere.

Paying 10M is crazy if you cannot get a proven winner. We already proved that … cooler heads will prevail, and the next coach will have a reasonable contract until he earns more
