He won an NC and coaches under Saban. He can recruit and has lots of recruiting ties. Not a terrible imo

I liked it.
Fans are generally dumb about coaches.
A lot of our fans hated Aranda.
Our fans are more worried about getting pwned on the SEC rant than whether Golding is actually a good coach.

He ain’t my first choice but neither was Kelly. He’s a solid DC. Not amazingly good but good. If you have a team that’s going against a far more talented team, he’s not the guy you want. If your team is going up against comparably talented teams, he’s just fine.
