Yes. And if you know Jay Jacobs, there is going to be a buyout.

At first I thought you guys were just trolling. But I think you now believe your own bull shite.

You should expect it to continue as long as you keep reacting to it, or Texas finds a coach.

A buyout would mean nothing to all that Texas money. If they want Gus, they will get him.

Seriously, he didn't say it means nothing with him leaving Alabama. Reading comprehension is tough, eh?

Ok. Now I know that I am wasting my time on you. You don't even know what thread you are in.

The extension means nothing in regard to whether or not Saban stays because there is on buyout.

I'd have it no other way.

Read the OP again, my friend.

Trolls need to learn to do it properly. I hold trolling to a high standard, and he fell short. So I made sure he realized his mistake. Catching you was an extra bonus.

Yeah. Hope y'all make the same dumb decision after one good season and sign your coach to a huge arse buyout just like you did with Chizik.

How many ex-coaches do y'all have on the payroll?

Buyouts mean nothing in reality. If another school wants your guy bad enough, they will pay it. If your guy sucks, your school gets screwed and end up paying him long after he is gone.

I'm bored of trolling the Saban angle. I think Malzahn is gonna get a phonecall soon, if we're being serious.

no doubt but the fact that his name came up with these rumors and he signed a new contract literally hours later and said he did it to prevent any rumors from spreading really make me think we'll be able to hang onto him for a while.

Who in the hell believes that a school like UT couldn't buyout a buyout? A buyout has never stopped a top tier school from either hiring or firing a coach. How much did auburn pay to buyout Tubbs?

Context explains what he meant. We got it. You think it is something else.

But, hey, don't let me get in the way of patting yourself on the back. You're awesome.

As for trolling, you might want to reconsider some things. You are missing a lot.

Yes, we know. When Tubbs wanted to leave after 2006 or 2007 and Auburn refused to lower his $7 million or so buyout, they really showed him by having to give it to him for him to leave in 2008

Read the following very slowly. Read it twice if you need to until it sinks in.

quote:

"We've been trying to do this thing with Alabama all the way back into the season," Saban said. "It really wasn't about the contract. It was about staying at Alabama, wanting to be at Alabama, wanting to continue to do good things for Alabama and our commitment to the players here, the university and the community."

quote:

"I don't want to go someplace else," Saban said. "I don't know how many times I can say that.

"Maybe this will be what the Cleveland Browns, Tampa Bay thing was to the NFL the last couple of years. That kind of ended the pro speculation. Maybe this will end the college speculation. This is where I'm going to finish my coaching career."
