I'm bored of trolling the Saban angle. I think Malzahn is gonna get a phonecall soon, if we're being serious.

It means his contract is extended. It means his compensation is raised.
Not sure how that is nothing to you. Simpletons.

It isn't binding on Saban, though.
He can walk away.
Do we have to spell this out for you?
If Texas calls next week with 10/100 million, does Saban take the call and listen? Or, does he say, "No way, guys. I just extended with Alabama for $7 million. Bye."
Seriously. Think, dude.

He can walk away.

It means texas knows the number it will take to get saban.

Seriously, he didn't say it means nothing with him leaving Alabama.
Reading comprehension is tough, eh?

I think the rest of us understand the premise of the OP's post to be that Saban is not locked in to anything by his contract.

Because no school would ever be willing to offer more for Saban.

So Saban would accept a contract with Texas that includes a buyout, as all reports have indicated, when he hasn't accepted a contract with a buyout in years?
Seriously. Think, dude.

Gus signed his new extension yet?
Posted on 12/14/13 at 7:42 pm to BamaGradinTn
No. Saban will never accept a buyout. And, he would tell Texas that and they would like it.
And then offer him $100 million.
And then offer him $100 million.

He already turned down all the oil in Texas plus 100 million. Not worried
