SW had “the balls to ditch him”? Really? There are so many conflicting stories out there what was discussed, how it happened, and who was in the room when it went down.

A) I think LSU does reach out for interest in coaching. He declines.

B) I think LSU follows up to offer him consulting fee for new coach. He accepts.

The hearsay doesn’t fricking matter. Brian Kelly is no longer the coach, Scott Woodward is his direct superior. You think SW opposed the decision?

If Nick wanted to come back, I would let him stay until he is 100 if he wanted to do it.

Also, I would love to taste those crimson tears.

They would either get with the process and turn into real men or cry. He has done it before.

Saban has NOTHING left to prove he has more National Championships than anyone living or dead in CFB history .

Let the man be. He'll be 74 on Friday

Most of the OL was still in the building though. I get they didn’t start, but we are looking at replacing 15-16 starters including your QB.

My point whole point with Saban has been simple. Why would he leave a juggernaut that he built up to start over again? The same hurdles that made him leave are honestly probably worse now.

I have no idea. Sure would like to see an AD press conference instead of a piece of paper.

Are the same people who declared "LSU doesn't have the money to fire Kelly" also saying "there's no way Saban will coach again?"

At most a 3 year contract. He’s too old for longer than that.

Anyone thinking Saban (or Meyer) is delusional.

The fact Woodward hired Jimbo in the first place is reason enough. Jimbo was mediocre. BK fell off a cliff. That's two bad hires.

Great point. I think the only chance he would even entertain the idea is if he genuinely missed coaching college football to an insanely high degree. He's been out over a year, the only thing that would get him to come back is the itch. The man loved coaching football. I, personally, think he's done. There is nothing else for him to accomplish he has done it all, better than anyone. The only way he comes back is if that itch is bad enough it needs scratched. No one knows if that's the case except Saban himself.
