I would have no faith left in this program if they fired Les Miles and hired fricking David Shaw

David Shaw from Stanford. This would be a legit candidate. Stanford has stayed strong after Harbaugh. Would definately listen.

Shaw is from California (limited recruiting ties to the SEC states). Shaw played WR at Stanford. Shaw is essentially a God at that university. He's paid around $4M. Oh, and he gets to live in pleasant Palo Alto. I don't think Shaw is interested in LSU...

Shaw will not leave Stanford. He is an alumni and he is in a safe position even if he has a mediocre year or two...at LSU if he has a bad year or a 7-6 year even after very successful years, the pressure would really get ugly on him.

If you want someone who can come in and basically take over a high end functional program like LSU I think you can and have to take a look at Kleiman at ND State.

If people hated les miles offense and stubbornness, they will really be annoyed with Shaw. He runs basically the same offense.

No one has ever said LSU's offense sucks. I like our offense. It's the play calling and predictability that sucks.
I would love David Shaw, b/c we would have the same offense, just run at a much higher efficiency level. You realize he made baby Hogan look somewhat decent, and won 3 PAC12 titles with him at QB? The kid even got drafted somehow. If Hogan was LSU's qb we would probably be even worse than we are now with Harris/Etling.

I love how badly Bama doesn't want Herman at LSU.

David Shaw would be a homerun hire for LSU. I would prefer him over Herman and he could definitely step in at LSU and make them a contender in my opinion.
You are very transparent. And dishonest.

Chris peterson- Good coach, has washington headed the right way. Think he's a pacific northwest guy but you at least reach out.

He won't leave the Northwest for the Bible Belt. Take from that what you will. I live up here and his religious views are "unique."

Peterson is a candidate to be fired. Must not be heading in much of a right direction. The last place LSU needs to listen to or care about is the opinion of anyone or anything that has to do with Alabama.

Weren't many of the 104.5 guys really chummy with Coach O. I think he had a recurring guest spot on one of their shows before he came over to LSU. It'll be interesting to see if they end up gravitating to being in his corner.

Derek Ponamsky of Culotta and the Prince is being announced as the replacement for Dean Dingman the Asst Director of football ops in the next hour.

So yes Coach O is going to have their support.

Neither one of those are valid candidates. They are qualified, but neither situation leads one to believe they would come to LSU.

Did they say why those are the only attainable candidates?
