, just think the price tag is what you pay for Jim Harbaugh not Jimbo Fisher.

i wouldnt disagree with that...

But hiring Oregeron would be a monumental mistake

Who do you want as HC and how does his resume compare to Jimbo?

No matter what happens Aranda needs to stay.

They better know what they are doing. If Jimbo struggles next year and drops a few games the calls for his head will be loud and hostile.

I don't understand the logic of hiring/not hiring/firing a coach based on one or two games! you realize Saban got drummed by Dinardo in the I bowl right?

I am still going with the odds and say if O goes to the Sugar Bowl he is the favorite for the job.

I'm sure you are.

Whats the percentage at now?

FSU fans think that they have lost their coach already.

At this point it appears both sides are tired enough of one another to just sigh about it.

I've soured as much on Jimbo this year as FSU fans. IMHO he comes here and is fired within 4 yrs

Not sure how I feel about this , on one hand I'm excited but I'm also worried about LSU retaining Aranda now. Jimbo/Aranda could compete with saban/kiffen within a year or 2.

if DALSU reports that this will happen, then we know it won't

Meh. I don't want a coach that loses 63-20 despite having a more talented team.

how short-sighted can one person be? It was one damn game and FSU ran into a buzzsaw at Louisville. It happens.

Now, if that's a pattern, then it becomes relevant. But a single game -- no.

Yes, but relevance? In his presser yesterday he said "I did [see the report] when I walked out of a meeting, had no idea. But here’s the thing: I’m not going to talk about any jobs. I love being at Florida State. I plan on being here and I’m just getting ready for Syracuse. That’s the last thing I’m going to say on that. No offense to anybody or anything else, that’s just what I’m going to do. I love being here."

Probably would be 10x louder if O were to come out and struggle.

we are going to drop games next year no matter who the coach is. we are losing players and jimbo will have had little time developing QB's and recruiting. miles dropped games every year save for 2011. Miles has left a big shite sammich and everyone has to take a bite unfortunately. I doubt he works miracles in one year. maybe of we had him this year we could have won it all. But next year? don't see it. It is why we should have canned miles last year.
