I don't think anyone reads the genre I've spiraled into though...

I keep seeing that one talked about as disturbing, but I can’t usually do the smut end of things. What is the smut to disturbing ratio?

The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self by Carl Trueman. It's depressing where we are now as a species. Minds are completely broken and the standard is to break them younger and younger.

I'm reading Dawnshard and The lost Metal, and currently listening to elantris on audible .

TD needs fewer forums.

Read this the other day.

Not a bad read but the author seems to be overrated.

Just read Blood Forest by Geraint Jones ... centered on Arminius' ambush of Roman legions in the Teutonburg Forest.

Now reading the follow up novel, Siege. Goos stuff.

By All Means Available by Michael Vickers.

I knew a little about him from the book Charlie Wilson's War, but this covers his entire career. He was involved with almost everything bad happening, any where in the world, for the past 40+ years. It's a fascinating story. He doesn't really blow his own horn, but you can tell he knows his shite.
