I don't think he is dead yet. It wouldn't make sense. Why would the 3EC want to potentially ruin the allegiance of Bran and Rickon by killing their friend?
They are just kids and wouldn't appreciate the greater good.

Exactly. He hasn't built enough trust with Bran to just be like trust me, I know it sucks I killed your only friend in the world, but it's for the best I promise. If 3EC is indeed evil, don't think he is, he will need to manipulate Bran further before pulling something like that off.
Plus we need to remember that Jojen has power as well. It's possible that the 3EC altered his green dreams in order to get him to guide Bran, but I just don't think that fits. Jojen felt that his life's purpose was to bring Bran to the 3EC. If Bloodraven wanted to do that, he could have gotten in anybodies head to convince them to do the same. Why a young boy with basically no resources except a sister who is good at forest stuff.

On page 49, 200+ forum pages to go. My head is asploding. And a question, sorry if it's been covered but too many pages to search through. I'm bout to start my reread of the series but have yet to look in to the Tales of Dunk and Egg, after which books would I need to read the tales?
Amazing thread BTW

All of the tales Pre-date the ASOIF series. If you read them first, it does present some good filler or back story.

Thank you sir, and is there any more aside from the 3 published tales?

Just the 3 but another is on the way

Gracias, I saw earlier in the thread users were emailing the tales.
If one would be so generous I would appreciate it.
