With schools jumping ship from the Pac-12 to the Big Ten, Phil Knight is digging into his phone contacts to get Oregon a place to go. According to Dennis Dodd of CBS Sports, Nike's co-found has lowered to even "working the phones"...

Oregon is absolutely nothing without Nike and Phil Knight. The state doesn't care about football, their students don't care about football, and their alumni outside of Phil Knight don't care about football.

Have you ever watched an Oregon game? They pack Autzen and travel very well. Brought a great crowd for the LSU game in Jerry world, and when I went to their game against Moo St in Starkville they sold out their entire away allotment and were sprinkled in all over that stadium.

Nobody is gonna want money bags in their conference with NIL. It’s why he’s working the phones and being called. Also it’s Oregon. Yea, some success but doesn’t draw like usc does.
