Applewhite sure don’t look “Baton Rouge”

Oliver is costing himself money. Looks like a headcase now, wait until he gets a few million for his signing bonus. I wouldn't draft him top 10 after that.

Most GMs and coaches know Applewhites a joke HC and Ed Oliver will be an All pro for 10 plus years.

English. Speak it.

There's surely some back story here that we don't know... but as hostile and animated as Ed was, looks like he could have been playing that night to me.

He'll have a lot of explaining to do to at the NFL combine when he's interviewed by the GM's and coaches. What he did definitely raises a red flag.

Or y'all are just being overdramatic instead of realizing literally every football player ever has lost their shite at some point. Including NFL Golden Boy Tom Brady.

Never should have been benched for Chris Simms.

Wasn't just about the jacket. The POS should have been playing. Look at the pregame snip in this video. LINK

I think Applewhite was wrong in how he handled it. If he didn't want him wearing the jacket tell him inside the locker room. Not on the sidelines with the camera rolling. Ed is a millionaire regardless. Should he have handled it like he did? No, but it all started with the coach.

Jerry Jones likes drafting idiots. Seems like a perfect fit.

And that's why you're not a coach

Welp this is my deal out of respect to the player and not have an embarrassing situation ensue take Oliver aside explain the rules again and if he doesn’t listen send him to the locker room. No need to start pulling at a mans clothes it’s just not the way to respect someone.

I'm sorry.. but how perfect are you? You've never gone off on anyone? Better yet.. you were an upstanding and perfect person at his age, right? Stfu. And this is to you and 31TIGERS. Amazing how jackasses like y'all look down on MF KIDS!!! DUDE IS LITERALLY IN HIS EARLY 20! How did you react when Tom Brady went off on the sidelines, or when Gronkowski hit Tre White in the head after the play was dead? frick both of you

If I agree with the coach, does that make me an Applewhite supremacist?

This is the kind of stuff that happens when one player thinks he's more important than the entire team.

I actually like the move by Appelwhite. Glad to see a coach finally calling a player out for thinking their future is more important than their current team. I get it, its a business decision, but decisions have consequences.

I think Oliver can get over not wearing a jacket and in a few months he will have more money than the coach. Now Oliver will not want to represent this university which will have much longer negative impacts... hope not letting him wear a jacket was worth it.

Bitch move by the coach. Oliver has done a lot for the shite program.

Wonder if he lays awake at night lamenting turning his back on LSU for Houston

Doubt it. After he left BR, he was OC for the tide for a while.
