College football might be the sport easiest to manipulate. The officials don't make any real money. One official can complete shift the tide of a game with a few well placed holding calls, etc. And depending on the calls, a school can profit in the millions of dollars.

This Bama dynasty was created more from collusion than luck! Had Trump not showed up for the 2019 game Burrow would have been out for sure!

well Bama was the most penalized team in the SEC in 2022, so I guess the Bama collusion crew took a year-long sabbatical.

SEC is so corrupt its pathetic.

The irony is laughable. Ain't no way these refs are objectively calling these games. The bias is clear

The targeting call on the LSU player was a straight up warning from the crooked SEC refs to drop it.

SEC refs are either incompetent or damn cheaters. It’s one or the other .

He drove him into the ground....after the play...Refs did recognize that and called unnecessary roughness...They should have called nothing...but that would have been too flagrant. Daniels was also " horsecollared" earlier with a NO CALL.. How does this happen?? We know, don't we??

Anyone who thinks refs are paid to ensure certain outcomes happen are crazy. Sincerely, Tim Donaghy

I’ve said it for years now that the SEC has the worst officiating in every sport played..

I used to think the SEC refs were just inept but after realizing no one could be bad as they were, I realized the organization is corrupt.

Like the NFL, College Football is a multi-billion dollar business. Officials are used to spread the wealth and keep the fan bases excited.

I quit the NFL long before the kneelers due to the awful officiating. College football is closing in on itself as well.

It is targeting because Sam went in with the top of his head first. "no player shall initiate contact and target an opponent with the crown (top) of his helmet." It has nothing to do with where he hit the running back.
It should have also been targeting on the hit on Daniels last week.

You have never played football. The RB keeps going lower and lower and Sam is trying to get under him. There's only so much you can do.

How would you keep your head up when you are less than 1 foot off the ground? Should he have just let him go? He wasn’t leading with his head down… he continued to go lower as the RB lowered his pads.

The purpose of the targeting rule supposedly is to protect the players from injury. It obviously failed in the daniels situation, where he was hurt specifically cause he was hit in the head region.

Targeting called last night in retaliation for Kelly questioning the no call last week, and now they’ll fine him like a bunch of butthurt pussies.

yeah, it's hilarious that the Bama game call wasn't even reviewed when the QB gets concussion and knocked out of the game. UF game, there's no helmet contact and this call was reviewed. I thought "hey they'll look and see nothing". Then it lasted longer than expected and I thought.."they are looking to make up shite now". There was no need to even review it but they did. Shocked but not shocked.

Watched a little of Arkansas vs Auburn and an Ark player was changed with targeting on a shoulder pad to shoulder pad tackle. Helmets never touched and even the announcers were amazed the call was made. SEC officials are horrible.
