Former LSU teammates Zach Mettenberger and Brad Wing have reunited again on the Memphis Express team in Alliance of American Football League.

Wondering what the Alliance of American Football League is?
quote:

Led by some of the most respected minds in the sport, the Alliance of American Football is high-quality professional football fueled by an unprecedented, groundbreaking and dynamic relationship between players, fans and the game. Founded in 2018, The Alliance is comprised of eight professional teams competing over a twelve week season. The 2019 season begins on February 9, 2019.
To add some spice to their social media pages, the Memphis Express created "The Mett Show" where Mettenberger interviews players on the team. His first interview was Brad Wing:

Lot of those former players left early and look where it got them! Should have stayed another year.

Yep and you can say that for lots of those Juniors who left early. Looks like O is finally getting through to these guys. The money is tempting but when there is no money to be had then what's the point? That senior season tape is vital to the pros and when they draft you. Your draft spot is vital to how much string you get from a certain team. You can make mistakes if they have seen that you will develop and have invested money in you. With no invested money or proof that you can do your job then they won't have any reason to keep you on that team. These teams can only keep 50 players on the team. Big numbers crunch.

3 year contract worth $250,000 total. Dude could be working in the athletic department or doing pretty much anything with a degree making that much or more. If he’d left as a senior I wouldn’t be saying anything but he wasn’t ready and it cost him money

"Dude could be...doing pretty much anything with a degree making that much or more." He majored in Interdisciplinary Studies. You think employers are lining up to hire those types of grads at $83k per year to start?
