Wilson coached Fournette when he was the running back coach and recruiting coordinator at LSU from 2010-2015. He returned to Baton Rouge in 2022 as running back coach under Brian Kelly and took over as interim head coach after Kelly was fired on October. 26.

Wilson is expected to be named running back coach at Ole Miss sometime after LSU's Bowl game against Houston on Dec. 27, which LSU fans have mixed feelings about.

LF had 6 meaningful seasons in the NFL, two 1000 yard seasons, and averaged 3.9 per carry for his career. He is by far the shining jewel of Frank Wilson's contributions to the pros
