WAFB is reporting that suspended LSU wide receiver Drake Davis was arrested Sunday morning on battery charges. This is Davis' second arrest in a month.

Davis is being charged with two counts of battery on a dating partner.

This is his second arrest since August involving his ex-girlfriend getting beaten.

According to Davis arrest report, the LSU Police Department interviewed the victim on Sept. 15 where she confirmed that Davis attacked her on Aug. 26. In addition, she told police that she woke up in the early morning hours of Sept. 15 noticing she had a black eye. Police reported that the victim did not admit that Davis was the one who struck her. The victim told police during the interview that she did not know how it happened. Read more.

Starting QB's at major football programs don't get to go to casinos. They can't go anywhere near gambling, because it always carries the possibility that they might throw games to help cover spreads. Now..whether this dude gets to go or stay depends on whether O wants to use football to rehabilitate him or wants to wash his hands of a problem kid. He does, after all, look mommas in the eyes and tell them that if they'll trust their sons to his program, he's going to help them grow to productive manhood.
