The Ferdinand (based on the losing Tiger design by Porsche) was just awful and savaged when left alone against Russian infantry anti tank units.

The Grant and Lee were praised by the British in the desert campaign due to their ungainly height. A trait that was less than ideal in other theaters of operation.

The Sherman had a low velocity all purpose 75 mm cannon and the Panther a high velocity 75. What the tank was for was up to interpretation.

West Monroe has already beaten the 7th ranked team in Louisiana, the 5th ranked team in Alabama, and the 9th ranked team in Mississippi this season. Add a good Neville team to the win total and I'm thinking their chances in the playoffs are pretty good.

Agreed. The Pershing saw limited action late in the war to be considered the best. In the battle for Cologne when head to head with Panthers it showed its potential, but too little, too late in the game. It the Tiger Royal, Josef Stalin tank were formidable but not eligible for the title.

The T34 was a great tank, but certainly not from a technical standpoint. Most didn't even have a radio. The T34 was however easy to produce, had decent firepower especially in the T34/85 iteration and sloped armor giving good protection.
It used a Christie suspension (American inventor) system that most other countries found less than ideal, and when matched tank to tank with German armor other than Mk 3 and 4 panzers was out of its class.
It was produced in huge quantities and huge amounts of ok beat small amounts of excellent everytime.

The Neville situation sort of reminds me of WMHS last year with Bolden. They put their best athlete in a position to touch the ball every play. It's understandable, but imagine Bolden with this year's offense. Unstoppable.

Neville with Brister at quarterback and the other kid as a playmaker could be something special.
