LSU sophomore long snapper Quentin Skinner has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple sources.

The news was somewhat expected as Skinner was not on LSU's Spring Roster last week.

Skinner, who was LSU's starting long snapper the last two seasons, will be replaced by Slade Roy who recently transferred in from East Carolina.

It’s part of the purge Coach Kelly has going at LSU. Coaches, players, S&C, administrators, etc. He did keep Sam Nader as team custodian I believe or was it Laundry Master. I can’t recall but he was there with Cholly Mac.

I think his name should have been Money Skinner

1. Why didn't he play in the Texas Bowl? 2. The competition in long snappers must be tight. I mean the biggest mess up has to be a snap that's a little too high.

What I've been thinking. I don't recall him messing up in any game.

Prolly safe to say he hadn't been going to class. Brought in the transfer so they didn't like them apples pretty early.
