Report: Lincoln Riley Expected To Take The USC Job

Update: USC has officially announced the hiring of Lincoln Riley.

Pete Thamel with Yahoo Sports is reporting that USC is closing in on Oklahoma coach Lincoln Riley with a possible announcement coming within 24 hours.

Matt Zenitz of On3Sports is reporting that Riley has informed his staff that he is taking the job at Southern Cal.

Sorry, but it’s an international city for a reason. He will be competing for the top 4 soon. Or LSU who just fired a NC coach two years later? Yeah, BR and Ruth’s Chris is a much better gig.

This year: Billy Napier lost by 20 to a terrible Texas team. Billy Napier beat a terrible Arkansas State team by 1 point. Billy Napier beat Nichols State by 3 points. Billy Napier beat South Alabama by 2 points. Billy Napier has never won the friggin’ Sun Belt Conference. Did not want Billy Napier. If he had lost to Nichols, South Alabama, or Arkansas State would you actually think he is the Coach for LSU? Hell no.
