Former LSU running back Tre Bradford transferred to Oklahoma this offseason but reports earlier this week indicate that he is no longer with the Sooners football team.

On Thursday, Oklahoma beat reporter Jason Kersey tweeted that there is some speculation that Bradford could rejoin the Tigers.

Bradford is a former four-star prospect from Dallas. He played three games as a freshman last year with 10 carries for 58 yards. He also caught a touchdown pass in LSU's 37-34 upset win over No. 6 Florida.

The little bit he played I really liked what I saw. I was disappointed to see him leave but I’m happy to see he could be back.

He never should have left. Dude was getting nice PT last year.

If he has grown a chest recently and our drug testing policy isn’t as bad as OU’s, I say we should take him back.

How many practices did Gilbert have with UGA? lol

Gilbert is another one that should have left, I don't understand it. He was having a good season at LSU when he just up and left. Smh He was becoming LSU's top receiver after T Marshall, LSU was doing exactly what he wanted in lining him up all over the field as a WR. Dude would have finished with really good numbers had he played a whole season. Oh well, I hope he gets some help.

We are about to see how much chest coach has. If he lets players walk all over him, he will be setting the standard

More options in the backfield can't hurt. Come on back young man..

Do we need him? He wasn't very impressive when he did play. And I am being kind.

Led the team in ypc …small sample though. He let the pressure get to him last year though, evidence is the drops he had. He was good running it though and supposedly he was absolutely lighting it up at ou

He looked pretty good running with the ball but he dropped every pass thrown to him I think.

Tre caught a TD against Florida, so he caught at least 1 ball.

We’re low on schollies and could use special teams help. On side note if Bradford returns just shows how fricked up college football and NCAA rules have become.

The plan will work perfectly when he brings their playbook and we play them in a playoff game…

When he left, Tiger fans were saying he had no chest and was 5th string caliber at best... now he wants to come back, and he's suddenly the second coming of Barry Sanders?

Who is saying that?

No one said either of those things.

No one said either of those things. I’m guessing you have a clipboard filled with these that you copy and paste when something like this happens.

You have idiots like Herbstreit who complain about conference expansion killing the traditions of college football, yet are quiet as a mouse when it comes to this crap. If anything is killing the traditions, the transport portal is at the top of the list.

I agree. NIL and transfer realignments do not compare to the transfer portal.

Conference realignments I mean.

I'm not gon lie, I didn't like both Okie and Texas leaving the Big 12. They should have stayed in their conference, but it's all about the MONEY these days.

This transfer portal is turning college football into a joke. How can teams be expected to recruit or kids know where to go to college when things change from week to week?

There needs to be a cutoff date at least. Several months prior to the beginning of the season. It’s crazy how this BOMB got dropped & I don’t remember there being a lot of discussion about it. It’s like the NCAA failed to realize the impact of it.

Young man is obviously conflicted and received some bad advice. He knows he'll have to earn playing time if he comes back. I hope this turns into a great success story for him.

This business of window-shopping schools is BS and needs to be stopped. The tails are wagging the dogs.
