Don't know if this is relevant or not, but is the kid staying in LSU dorm or off-campus apartment? Are personal weapons allowed on campus dorms, etc? That's the scary part of this fiasco.

don't conceal carry without a permit, it's just the law right now whether you agree with it or not

Don’t think you can conceal carry in a bar anyway.

He got one hell of a break…he would have been fined more than the value of the gun and now he won’t have firearm violation on his record.

So he loses a gun to the gooooooooooooberment because he exercised his right to bear arms.

What's the issue? Can you drive at 13yrs old... vote at 15yrs old... join the service w/o parental consent before 18yrs old... etc??

All this whining about someone's 2A rights and probably none of you have done anything legally to help change laws.

Whoever's posting these news articles need to hire proofreaders!! Should read, "will be dropped under the condition that he DOESN'T pursue".....

I wouldn't return to NOLA to even get the gun.

From what it says, it’s just that gun. Seems like robbery.

Real good deal. He’ll make enough in the NFL to buy whatever the hell he wants.

I’m guessing having Gordon is paying off in other ways.

This seems really shady. Sounds like someone liked his gun and will get it at no cost.

Shiiiit. That gun is going to end up in the gun closet, of some judge or politician…. Or somebody just got season tickets.

Charges against Nabers will be dropped under the condition that he guarantees a victory in Tuscaloosa…

Weird deal.
He'll stop and get another on the way home, so no worries.

Hmm. Depends on the gun but a good deal. Even fighting a misdemeanor can cost over $1200, that'll buy most handguns

They forgot to simply list the weapons charge. That’s the part of the story that is the actual story. Vague weapons charge is vague.
