On Wednesday, current LSU linebacker commit Keylan Moses continued his role as class leader by making his way to campus to assist in the recruitment of five-star safety DJ Pickett.

Picket, a 6-3, 170-pound defensive back from Zephyrhills, Fla., is the No. 1 safety in the country for the class of 2025.

Picket set his top schools as Alabama, Miami, Georgia, Oregon, and Michigan in December but noted that his recruitment is still open. Expect new LSU defensive backs coach Corey Raymond, with the help of Moses, to be all over Pickett as his recruitment heats up.

This kid is a relentless Jedi. I don't think I've ever seen a committ as hard-core as he has been in recruting other players. If this football thing doesn't work out, kid has college coach written all over him.

Keylan will be the glue that solidifies this class which will ensure Kelly continues to lock the state down and gets the best recruits in the nation. This is exciting and I know he said he isn’t worried about NIL but he is earning a big payday! Let’s GEAUX!!!!
