qb draws and TE over the middle opens up the outside space for receivers and backs out of the backfield, even I know this, so does Brady and Belichek.

Thank you, TigerSpray! Finally, someone gets it! My screaming at the tv has not been in vain! Will you take over as OC?
user avatar
BigTimer2376 months
@Lexman1 I think you should probably just take over

I don't think it's over with this guy just yet. If he can put his ego down for a second, and if O can do the same, we have a huge offensive game against ND and they hug it out after. Maybe they can mend the issues after all. Keep him for another 2 years, at least try to make it work. We recruited to this offense, now let's try to make it go somewhere.

I am hoping the same, but this has been public and messy. I don't know that there is any coming back at this point.

It has been messy but if two people share a common goal they can make it work...

If Matt Canada truly wants to be here next season and is not retained...heads need to roll. Next season will be a shite show without him with a the built in "new system" bs excuse.

So the word yesterday was that he's leaving. Today, the man himself said he would like to stay. Confusing to say the least.

I want to see what happens with this offense next year. O and Canada both have egos, but it's time to be men and put those aside for real success. Petty "this is my offense" or "we do what I want" bullshite doesn't work, and there's especially no room for it at this level. Give up temporary battle ground to win the war together.

Coach O has turned this program into a dumpster fire.

Nah Alleva turned it into a dumpster fire... Coach O is just pouring gasoline on it.

Placebeaux- Yeah its Perms fault that a Dline coach doesn’t agree with one of the brightest offensive minds in the country. Clown.

Coach O says, “100 million people will be watching us play Norte Dame!” Lmao Coach O ego is ridiculous.

Are you "a little dense"? Cause you seem a little dense.
user avatar
JustinT3776 months
To Sid in Lakeshore, I am frustrated w/ Coach O. I smelt like him and am happy he is our Coach bc I believed what he was telling us a year ago. It was all “what’s best for the team” and “I am going to let my coaches (that he picked) coach.” Now we have tension in house when we are suppose to have consistency after losing Les Miles.

They should lock the coaches in a room with a couple handles of Jim Beam and not let them leave til they’re empty and the boys resolve their problems.
user avatar
luciouslou76 months
that probably wouldnt go to well for Canada
user avatar
monsterballads76 months
Let’s not give O the recovering alcoholic any Jim beam shall we

First off, this is big time college football! Everyone has a big ego! It’s called competition! You think Little Nicky doesn’t have an ego? Think again. And his coaches do what he wants or he sends them packing! Same at any workplace. The boss dictates to his/her employees what to do, and they do it or they’re fired. There’s no negotiation. No participation trophies. Do it or hit the road!

The difference in here is O’Flintsone said that he learned from his Time at ole miss that you have to let your coached coach. Guess he forgot about that.
user avatar

The difference is we have a freaking shrimp boat captain as a HC. Ogre will never be Saban.... hell he would never be McElwain..... he better be damned careful.... get the wrong assistants and he will be gone quick. Guy is totally dependent on having great coordinators.

PLZ DON'T LEAVE US MATT BAW

I'd like to keep this guy around another year. Hopefully we can whoop that ND arse with an offense spitting fire, defense locking shite down and the rest takes care of itself. It'd be nice to have a stable offseason for once and for players not to have to learn ANOTHER new offensive system.

Offense explodes on national tv for a ton of points and LSU fires the offensive coach

He needs to stay! He is a good OC. He will get picked up by another SEC team quickly.

This is a very confusing situation. Canada gets props for the way he is handling it.
user avatar

I would like to see Canada stay, but he should have found some humility a bit earlier. The knock on him is he isn't easy to work with, and I'm sure O isn't upset for no reason.
user avatar
Carson12398776 months
Ya bc O must be so easy to work with. Imagine having to work for someone who is worse than you at their job in every way
user avatar
X123F4576 months
Carson, you should know better. You meet him and talk to him, you will come away with two things: you will not out work him, and he recruits in a genuine manner. He doesn't come across as sleazy. Recruiters are usually human garbage lol
user avatar

Ed is upset because Canada had to go over his head to get Alleva to make him mind his own fricking business and let Canada do his job. It was that bad, and the results showed earlier in the season. Wouldn't you do the same. Ed is a child.
user avatar

I could not care less He can leave, he'll have job number 5 or 6 in less than 10 years.

Orgeron is the one that needs to go. He has turned this program into a clown show. Who would want to come and work for him?

I don’t understand how 9-3 with 6 SEC wins is a clown show. If anything I think the media turns things into a clown show by taking any little grain of potential news and turning it into a mountain

LSU is in a New Year’s Day bowl and could have a 10 win season. You’re stupid.

I am tired of coaching instability in our program. Canada is the highest paid OC in the land, yet he is still unhappy and generally being a baby backed bitch. Unless this gets straight in a damn hurry, I say we hire someone like Freeze and move on.
user avatar

Lol nobody wants him as a head coach
user avatar

Go to your job next week, tell your boss you're gonna start doing things your way, not his. Tell him you're smarter than him and you're gonna start calling the plays, not him. Tell us how that works out. Canada, the offensive genius, didn't show me much, lotta movement sideways, not much up and down the field. Totally overrated and overpaid.
