First of all I love me some Coach O! But wrong is wrong Coach O had no business making OC Matt Canada simplify the offense before the Troy game I'm sure Canada express his disapproval over the decision. And the results of that decision is evident as the offense was stagnant and we lost to a non conference opponent at home. Coach O said when he first got the job that he learned his lesson from his Ole Miss days to let his coordinators do their jobs and don't interfere and he renege on that really fast. Coach O has to realize we're breaking in a new QB and a new running game next season, we don't need them trying to learn a new system our O-Line should be real solid great even if Clapp, Weathersby and Brumfield come back. The only thing that can hurt us is the QB's don't get a grasp on the new offense a new OC bring in and we waste what could be a very special season. So Coach O put that cajun pride to the side and do what's best for the program not what's best for you don't be stubborn because we know where that got the previous HC.

I love how he was a shitty OC all year according to fans. Now all of the sudden he's amazing and those same fans are pouting because he's most likely gone.

Seems like he's a passive aggressive dude. Notice how Coach O ALWAYS says "tremendous". When has Canada used "tremendous" like that before this interview?

To be realistic how many coaches out there even talk or express themselves like Coach O? There's only one Coach O to compare anybody to him is really unrealistic.

These comments are a smart move on Canada's part. He's painting O and Alleva into a corner. Now if he leaves they can't say it was a mutual parting of the ways. Once again, Alleva gets outmanuevered by someone smarter.

Exactly my friend. Exactly.

Not hard to out maneuver Alleva or Orgeron.

I see an opportunity for a coup, one that even Alleva could get in on behind O's back to save his own arse [could even take credit for it when it proves successful]. Matt Canada and Dave Aranda could potentially collude on the prospect that Canada remains as OC if Aranda is promoted to HC. Even if O found out, what is he going to do, fire Aranda too? It would be a death sentence not only for Ed, but also Alleva. Such a move would force Alleva's hand if the public could get behind it, which is already taking place. We all know Aranda wants the job and probably hates working for a muppet.

Go to your job next week, tell your boss you're gonna start doing things your way, not his. Tell him you're smarter than him and you're gonna start calling the plays, not him. Tell us how that works out. Canada, the offensive genius, didn't show me much, lotta movement sideways, not much up and down the field. Totally overrated and overpaid.

Should I tell him 4 times?

Probably because Danny etling can't throw the Deep ball very well. The receivers were behind Alabama the whole game. I'm not exactly sure what you're talking about

Well his offense did rush for over a 150 yards against Alabama and it wasn't OC Matt Canada missing all those wide open WR's for TD's that would be QB Danny Etling. If Etling connects on those throws we beat Bama and all this would be mute.

I am tired of coaching instability in our program. Canada is the highest paid OC in the land, yet he is still unhappy and generally being a baby backed bitch. Unless this gets straight in a damn hurry, I say we hire someone like Freeze and move on.

Orgeron is the one that needs to go. He has turned this program into a clown show. Who would want to come and work for him?

I don’t understand how 9-3 with 6 SEC wins is a clown show. If anything I think the media turns things into a clown show by taking any little grain of potential news and turning it into a mountain

LSU is in a New Year’s Day bowl and could have a 10 win season. You’re stupid.

I could not care less He can leave, he'll have job number 5 or 6 in less than 10 years.

I would like to see Canada stay, but he should have found some humility a bit earlier. The knock on him is he isn't easy to work with, and I'm sure O isn't upset for no reason.

Ya bc O must be so easy to work with. Imagine having to work for someone who is worse than you at their job in every way

Carson, you should know better. You meet him and talk to him, you will come away with two things: you will not out work him, and he recruits in a genuine manner. He doesn't come across as sleazy. Recruiters are usually human garbage lol

Ed is upset because Canada had to go over his head to get Alleva to make him mind his own fricking business and let Canada do his job. It was that bad, and the results showed earlier in the season. Wouldn't you do the same. Ed is a child.

This is a very confusing situation. Canada gets props for the way he is handling it.

He needs to stay! He is a good OC. He will get picked up by another SEC team quickly.

I'd like to keep this guy around another year. Hopefully we can whoop that ND arse with an offense spitting fire, defense locking shite down and the rest takes care of itself. It'd be nice to have a stable offseason for once and for players not to have to learn ANOTHER new offensive system.

Offense explodes on national tv for a ton of points and LSU fires the offensive coach
