Jenkins will be a player in the NFL for sure and his letter of departure was sincere and all us Tigah fans appreciate his hard work throughout the years

He did what he came here to do, five seasons and a degree. He may not have become a sure fire pro ball player but, at this point, he is wasting time coming back for another year. I hope he gets some time in the NFL.

Glad he's going pro, but disappointed he's not playing in the bowl game. Regardless, I wish the best for him.

I would think he would want to play in bowl to try to get more attention from scouts.

An all time favorite Tiger who has faced significant adversity and prospered nonetheless.

Go get you some, young man!

Are people digging on this guy for bailing a little early after what he did for the team last bowl game? What? He did his time people.

I opt out of caring about the bowl game too. Why should any fan care about the bowl game more than the players?

6th year seniors with any chance at getting drafted should opt out of any bowl except the CFP Playoffs. Period. That's the smart 'business decision'.

There will be players opting out of the CFP too before you know it.

He got his degree. That's the main thing. Now he can go make money. I'm glad to see kids get their degree/education and then go pro. The ones that come back and get their degree after they start in the NFL shows commitment to a cause as well.

I hate opting out, but I guess I understand it. They will lose a lot of money if an ACL gets torn. Of course, they could have a big showing and improve their stock too.

Once a Tiger, then not a Tiger when you quit on your team. Good luck at the next level I suppose.

I use to think this way. But I personally have not experienced what most of these kids have growing up. I don’t understand his plight. The opportunity for the NFL could be life changing for his entire family. I don’t judge these kids as hard as I use to.
