LSU and Alabama's streak of playing eight-straight primetime games on CBS against each other will come to an end in 2019, according to an early SEC schedule from the network.

The annual matchup between the Tigers and the Crimson Tide is set for Saturday, November 9 in Tuscaloosa but CBS does not have a doubleheader day and night game scheduled on that date.

CBS would get first pick at selecting LSU-Alabama for their day game on Nov. 9 or it could be a night game on another network.

The last time LSU played Alabama during the day was 2010 in Baton Rouge when the Tigers beat the Crimson Tide 24-21.

Well it hasn't been a rivalry in a while. And to be honest it hasn't been close in a while.

Well when you become just another mark on their calendar, no one is interested and you don’t get prime time. Just win baby.

Abortion bans are expensive ... sorry to say it but that’s the reason Louisiana and Alabama are in the news right now. The rest of the country doesn’t want to deal with the bs. Go ahead and blame the liberal media but it is what it is.

Get out of here. The 8:30 game is in Athens with our Heartbeat bill

Looks like they want Tenn vs Florida for the 2:30 slot and UGA vs ND for the Primetime slot. Makes sense if that's why. The LSU vs Bama game is played out on a national level and ND brings a ton of eyeballs.

At least ND does not openly support late term abortions.

Good. I’m tired of watching our shite offense get shut out on prime time. Got to keep that staff together tho. :eyeroll:

You guys really think with the first pick of this game CBS selects LSWHO @ RTR for the 3:30 ( 2:30 Central ) on NOV 9th No way in the world that CBS does not air this game

This means it is almost certainly going to be the 2:30 game on CBS. Personally, I'd prefer 7 PM on ABC, if that's even an option, because CBS coverage of college football is mediocre at best.

It’s not necessarily gonna be a “Day” Game! It’s just not gonna be Primetime on “CBS!” Maybe ESPN will cover it in Primetime!

CBS gets first pick regardless. They WILL pick LSU-Bama.

Here's to hoping we can finally pull off the upset this year so that it could alternate back to a night game next year in Death Valley!

Well when you hype the shite out of a game, complete with billboards, and then lose 29-0, this is what happens.

Not really a primetime game when the same team wins every single year.
