LSU pass rusher Travez Moore was one of the LSU players to test positive for the coronavirus this summer and said that he lost 27-pounds as a result:

Moore is likely a part of the group of 'at least 30 players" that had to be quarantined after testing positive for the coronavirus back in June.

Man it's amazing to me how funny y'all think this shite is. I had the virus hospitalized the whole month of April and recovery took 2 months. You guys can joke all you want but like TM said coronavirus is REAL.

@BigTimer23 Def not saying it isn't real just sharing my personal experience. If the person who passed away was a friend or family member I'm sorry for your loss.

Dont u just Love how absolutely scared & threatened all Liberals are of Fox News!! For 40+ years when there was nothing but 100% Liberal Cable News networks all was was right in their little Progressive Bubble! THEN along comes 1 Conservative network thats a Ratings juggernaut that kicks the shite outta CNN, MSNBC, NPR & of course the BIG3 {put together} & all these Libs lose their shite, start whining & crying about how UNFAIR it is that FNS doesnt tote the DNC party line, like all the others have!! U cant really blame em tho, they know better than any1 that Liberalism cant & has never been able to stand up to any scrutiny or even a half-arse factual argument! I LOVE IT!!

I lost 20 lbs; from 185 to 165 in two weeks. This virus can affect some people more than others.

Gonna be really tough to gain his weight back, enough to play DE, when we have the depth we do....just spitballing, wonder if there could be a COVID medical RS made available. We forget how highly he was rated and pursued to play DE then we changed schemes....just a thought

It is very real. Put my otherwise healthy arse in the hospital for a week ($35K bill!) and I lost 15 pounds. Still trying to get my breathing back!

A lot of stupid on Tiger Droppings. But we all knew that before Coronavirus. Probably about 2,000 rednecks have shot themselves up with bleach so far. Thin the herd.

Rare young person to have pretty significant symptoms. Sorry to hear that and glad he's better.

Nobody I know or have heard about in real life has had the respiratory symptoms. Either no symptoms and got tested because of suspected contact or common cold symptoms for two days and then all good.

BigTimer2345 months
@Tigrdynasty Just because you don’t know somebody doesn’t make it less real. I know several under the age of 30 personally who had it and were very sick, and one who actually passed away last week.
user avatar
BigTimer2345 months
Oh and since I scrolled up and saw you questioning age and weight, the one who passed away was 30 and weighed less than 200 lbs.

I wonder, what is his blood type? Os seem to do well whereas As, Bs and ABs tend to have harder time fighting COVID.
user avatar
CapitolB45 months
That's really a great observation that I never considered. I'm O+ and have been very healthy in 2020. Looking at the number of downvotes your comment received I would bet most people on this forum have no clue what their blood type is or how it relates to health and well being.

Same thing happened to my wife’s boss. Was a muscle bound dude that lost 20 pounds of muscle. Had very little fat to eat so the virus ate the muscle I guess.
user avatar
Peepdip45 months
A virus doesn’t “eat” fat or muscle. You lose weight from throwing up and losing your appetite. A virus doesn’t have a mouth

There's a vaccine and at least 2 viable anti-virals to effectively combat the flu...am I right?

Damn! I can also speak from experience of loss of taste and smell and appetite! Happens to me every time I get a bad cold. Sucks! Sometimes the runs too. Fever and shortness of breath as well. I feel for ya T Moore! Been there many times.

Oh so you've had over a hundred and three fever for over a week? How about blood clotting and permanent damage to your organs including your heart? Do you have to be on a ventilator in a hospital for over a week? Yeah I didn't think so. Shut the f*** up and go away you dumbass idiot

I lost 11 pounds from all the yard work I accomplished during the lockdown from late March until early May. Moving massive amounts of containers of 9mm, .45 ACP, 5.56mm and .308 ammo may have also contributed to the weight loss. Freeze dried food buckets (years worth) wasn't light either. It all went for naught when my boat carrying all the aforementioned items sank in the lake on my way to my bunker retreat.
