Latest CFP Projection Has Five SEC Teams In The Playoff But Not LSU

LSU is on the outside looking in of CBS Sports' latest College Football Playoff projection.

CBS Sports has five SEC teams in its projected 12-team field, but the Tigers are not one of them.

Texas leads the way as the projected No. 1 overall seed and SEC champion, followed by Georgia at No. 4, Alabama at No. 7, Florida at No. 8, and Ole Miss at No. 11.

LSU sits at 3-1 following Saturday night's dominant 35-6 win over Texas A&M, with its only loss coming on the road against Ole Miss.
