Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports
ESPN reporter Adam Schefter revealed that Joe Burrow's MRI showed that he "tore his ACL, MCL, and suffered other structural issues in his knee as well." The timeline for a return is anywhere from 9-12 months, according to Schefter.

Just terrible news...

Is this what Coach O would call a lower body injury?

"Other structural issues" is not a full diagnosis.

Came here to post this. What are the “other structural issues”? Bucket tear? Swelling? There are literally hundreds of different issues that vary from “minor” to “worse than an ACL tear”. Would’ve been nice to have some kind of specificity there

It's not like he'll be walking around being held together with baling wire like Tua. Joe will be fine. Just don't rush it.

The QB that led the greatest football team in history will be back. Masked gumps do not understand. Don't try explaining it.

Burrow needs to sue his employer for not providing a safe work environment. A crap team has shortened his NFL career. He should rehab and if all goes well, demand a trade.

Sounds like a Democrat

Evanston (you not a tiger) You do realize that it was the Democrats who drew all the lawsuits and spent tons of your tax money to change how this election was concluded correct? It was the Democrats who told us they had smoking gun evidence that Trump was working with Russia only to never reveal any evidence whatsoever. More of your tax money spent on known lies. It was the Democrats who impeached a president for a phone call. Again reveal zero evidence. The Republicans have 100’s or 1000’s of sworn testimony as well as tons of circumstantial evidence. The Republicans are simply arguing that this election be handled like every other election of the past 243 years. According to OUR constitution. To follow laws written by elected officials not appointed judges. I guess we’ll just have to cheat better than the Dems next go round huh? I suppose we’ll just start planting our own judges and local authorities across the country. Actually I’m not real sure why the Republicans aren’t going into these cities and taking every single one of these so called ballots to investigate them one by one. They are well within their legal rights to do so when it goes to court. They are the judge and jury of elections so if I were them, I’d take them all and trace everyone back to a person, ask that person under oath who they voted for and see if it matches. I’d also ask everyone of them if that was indeed their signature. Then we’ll see who the sore losers are.

Joe, have the Bengals set up a hyperbaric chamber in your house and the facility to expedite and maximize recovery.

The Oline had not given up a sack to hat point in the game and that wasn’t a sack. It was a fluke that his own player rolled him. Secondly, the Oline had played much better the last few games contrary to what a-holes post on here. I’m not a Bengals fan, but have watched those games. The Pittsburgh game was on Joe for getting behind early and being off in his throws. They knew he had to pass so they teed off on him. He said it. Not me.

stop confusing the blowhards here with the facts.

The fact that he needs a better oline is an understatement. Not only have they been getting his arse killed all season, they actually managed to cause the injury when doing something good. The guy somehow managed to throw the defender into Joe as he was driving him to the ground.

Also, when I say he did something good, I mean instead of getting Joe killed by the dlineman, he at least held him after getting beat for the 1000th time.

The consistently great college football (And NFL) programs have HC's that realize it's all begins and ends with superior OL/DL play. Bengals haven't learned that fact yet. O hasn't learned that yet apparently. The "Highly Ranked" recruiting classes have not been front loaded enough with 4 and 5* OL's and DL's. Not even close......

no one deserves this kind of injury...but Joe will be back in record time.

Maybe, maybe not. Just because he was great QB at LSU doesn't mean he is a quick healer, especially when there is no injury history to go off of.

Absolutely infuriating. For the last 10 weeks people have been saying they need to protect him and they kept dropping him back and having him throw the fricking ball while getting waylaid thanks to a trash offensive line. frick the Bengals. frick Zac Taylor. That whole organization owes Burrow another $50MM minimum. Terrible.
