Ja'Marr Chase obviously thinks he's a better wide receiver than former LSU teammate Justin Jefferson but what do you think?

The question is not who’s better because their game’s are different but they’re both phenomenally great but different. They were Jarvis and Odell 2.0, one brought the lightning and the other the thunder and together they were the perfect storm and to finish the analogy Terrace would’ve been the rain. And another thing to the stupid media, your dumb arse dividing questions can’t throw a wedge between the brotherhood that is the LSU Tigers, Chase and Jefferson are brothers 4life.

Chase is in a different class

They're different types of receivers. Chase has so many physical tools that he could probably do a lot of things Jefferson cannot. However, Jefferson works as hard at being a WR as anyone I've seen, at least since Michael Clayton.

Exactly, both are completely different. I’d say both can catch the football equally but in different ways. Both run great routes. Jefferson is quicker but Chase is faster in distance. Jefferson has much more wiggle but Chase is very hard to cover because he’s naturally powerful which also makes him tough to bring down. The wiggle and quickness makes Jefferson very hard to defend because he can get in and out of routes easily and when he catches the ball, you better have your hands around him or he’s gone for another 15 yards. Chase runs great routes because he runs with power. It’s not easy to throw him off his route and when the defender try’s it typically throws his coverage technique off and by then he’s kicked it into 6th gear and he’s gone. Both of their hands are very strong and big. It’s not like Jefferson is some kind of skinny bitch either, he runs hard but just doesn’t have the natural power that Chase has. But that doesn’t mean he’s a push over out there. He’s tough as nails. What they both have is extreme confidence and the will to be the best and will not let anyone work harder than them to take their top spot. I wouldn’t want to cover either of them. Both are the best at what they do. I’d say they are both 1 & 2 ranked WRs in the NFL or at least both top 3-5 and 1 & 2 on most Sundays.

That first TD catch vs Bama in 2019 was a thing of beauty

Chase had more god given talent than Justin had coming out of high school. But Justin worked his arse off to be the level of player that he turned into. That said, it’s a tie for me

Jamar looks like The Man amongst all those others. Kind of amazing how good he really is.

Man if JJ ever gets to the Bengals, what a frickin duo.

Only way to resolve this is for JJ to join the Bengals and see who post the better stats.

Well they were both on the 2019 team. Chase had fewer receptions, but owned JJ in everything else. Higher avg per catch, more TD, more yards. JJ a beast, but Chase is a freak.

two different positions and rolls... Jamar was the outside explosive guy. Jefferson was the guy YOU KNEW was going to get you that 3rd and 6 across the middle. Dude played fearless.. and because of this it let Chase draw FAR MORE 1v1s on the outside than a guy as good as him should have ever gotten. Jefferson was a bit more consistent too. Jamar would have your MASSIVE game. But had maybe 1-2 games where he didnt put up great stats.. no fault of his own we just had so many superstars.. Jefferson really didn't have an off game. All this to say...idk who's better. But I love Jefferson and the way he plays so much. I think he has the better NFL career. SLIGHTLY

Not a cool quote. Keep that thought to yourself. Everyone on the planet can see your moves.

They are obviously good friends, you never mess with your friends? I'm sure when they go ask Justin, he's going to say something similar, and say all his moves are original or something of the sort.

Wow - do you not remember how close Ja’Marr and Justin are? Whichever one scored, the other was the first to run up to them to do whatever they planned that day to celebrate.

This is symbolic of the depths social media will go to get clicks. What else should he say?

Jetts definitely got the moves and the route running but Chase is more physical and has the body control in the air. My take both are great and glad they were tigers.
