Here's Ed Orgeron's Full Statement On The USA Today Story

What is truly odd is that I have heard of zero of these or any women going to legal authorities and making a Police Report and taking any player to Court. Title IX is not a Court of Law and rape is a Felony. So none of these little damsels knows how to go get a Lawyer and file charges? Or do they just want money?

I’ve stayed away from LSU football because my alma mater has become a insignificant part of my life since the riots. What has gone down since early May has been atrocious. This team was doomed because of it. Walking out on Coach O was the last straw. Then I hear now the Coaches, administration at LSU have been capitulating and Kaw tow to the players for covering up their terrible behavior is disgusting and disheartening. All it seems was the basis to win a National Championship . The only thing that is my saving grace is I graduated From Louisiana State University not LSU football

frick off your just jealous because playing football at lsu hold more weight in the corporate world than your bum degree from there. If you were seeking a degree with high merits you should have went to Harvard. Simple! Lsu tigas 4 life.

Sooo, were these like Viking rapes or drunken, walk of shame, “OMG what have I done? How am I gonna explain being an absolute whore to my sorority sisters?” type rapes?
I think that’s an important question, too... and (for the record, and before panties get in wads) if they are Viking rapes, the dudes need to be neutered and their balls fed to the wolves.

Agreed,
I hear about all these rapes that are taking place in the 21st century all the celebrities and business moguls that get caught up and I’m truly starting to question the motive of these victims. I’m not taking the blaming the victim approach at all, especially since I have 5 daughters. Truly consider this, every zit faced horny male on the verge of puberty can be charged with rape for simply acting out his natural male instances. Including but not limited too, having the faith and nuts to try and steal a kiss from your first crush, etc...all of those grey areas that’s are not defined and talked about which have made up most of our first sexual experiences with women. I GUESS WHAT IM TRYING TO SAY IS ; ITS A VERY FINE BETWEEN BEING A CURIOUS TEEN OR YOUND ADDULT AND RAPIST. The grey area between “she came to my dorm room at 3:45 am with no panties on or, we both were at a party getting Drunk for 5 hours straight and after she invited me to her dorm room 4:00 where we started kissing and started to have sex, she never said stop but three days later I’m being questioned by BR pd and accused of rape. There’s a grey area and I truly believe a lot of guys are getting caught up in it.

Shalise-manza-young is the yahoo sports writer callling for O’s head.
My statement to her via yahoo sports mail.
I truly believe that you should retract your statement regarding Coach O and the LSU program. While I do believe that justice should be served for those affected, however I don’t agree with you rhetoric. I feel safe to say that I speak for every American citizen that respects DUE PROCESS, and your draconian statement of “Ed Orgeron has to go ;Period” does not fit our logics. While I respect your opinion, I dont respect that fact that you can rush to a conclusion without hearing the entire merits of the case and allowing the American system too due process. I believe that you owe Ed Ogeron, his family and the Lsu community an apology. In all fairness it’s the least that you can do after publicly stating that he, and the lsu community promotes actions that endanger any member of our functioning society.

Y’all act like coach raped those women himself. There’s only so much that he can do as a coach, in addition; we live in a country where suspicion alone does NOT CONSTITUTE a crime, THEREFORE THOSE PLAYERS WERE INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN THE COURT OF LAW AND SHOULD NOT BE PENALIZED UNTIL FOUND GUILY IF IN FACT THEY WERE GUILTY. Sorry for the run onn sentence but I had to get this out!

OK, so we are one the few schools in the country that still suspends kids routinely for tha Mary Jane but we ignore claims of sexual assault? I'm calling bullshitee.

Drake and Darius clearly have problems and they are being dealt with, but the ease with which Title 9 sexual assault complaints can be filed is ludicrous. But for Drake Davis, which was not a sex assault situation, none of these situations resulted in criminal charges. That says a lot.

takeoff those purple and gold glasses ...its bad times in Baton Rouge.
Just because there was no criminal charges doesn't mean there wasn't an assault or rape and LSU has absolutely no excuse for not doing an investigation
