Former LSU DC Matt House Lands New Job In The NFL

Former LSU defensive coordinator Matt House is expected to join the Kansas City Chiefs coaching staff as a defensive assistant.

House was the DC at LSU from 2022 to 2023 and was fired last offseason by Brian Kelly.

He was the inside linebackers coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars last season.

House was the Chiefs linebackers coach from 2019–2021.

I still can't get the mage of our 4 down linemen setting up a yard or two off the line of scrimmage. House is without question the shittiest defensive coordinator we have ever had. Bo Pelini and Lou Tepper are off the hook.

Just the opposite. When he was with the Chief. “Let me tell you, I caught maybe 14-15 interceptions in the last two-three years,” Mathieu said. “Ten of those came on first and second down. Coach House was our first and second down, drop-back coach, he’s the guy that comes up to the front of the room and gives you the notes.
