Former LSU defensive back/running back Derrick Davis Jr. announced on social media that he will be transferring back home to Pitt.

The Monroeville, Pa. native entered the transfer portal on Dec. 12 but played in the Citrus Bowl vs. Purdue on Jan. 2, running the ball six times for 29 yards with one touchdown.

Davis Jr. signed with LSU as a four-star prospect in the 2021 class and played in 12 games last year at the safety position. He saw action in four games this season at safety before moving to the running back position for the UAB game.

I guess he likes Panthers more than Tigers. You may have just forgotten you might miss out on a SECC and NCAAC ring. Anyways, good luck freezing your arse off. GEAUX TIGERS !

We had over 10 guys transfer out, why does Derrick Davis trigger you so much? Did you have a crush on him?

That’s an odd reply. Maybe he’s from PA and wants to be closer to home. Honestly who cares what his reason is, your comment was weird.
