UNLV has not released the financial terms of Arroyo’s contract with the Rebels, but athletic director Desiree Reed-Francois has said she will be competitive compared to other Mountain West schools. That could put Arroyo in the $1 million range. Also appealing to UNLV was that the hire of Arroyo did not require any contract buyout from University of Oregon. Arroyo made $800,000 this year at Oregon and Sanchez was getting paid $650,000 as the head coach at UNLV until he was fired.

Colorado State is probably a cool place. It’s not a career-ender either. Jim Mcelwein coached there a couple years before landing the Florida job.

Based on these jobs Aranda is "interested" in I really think Aranda is being encouraged to leave. It has seemed that there was something wrong especially earlier in the year. The defense was not normal and there was little aggressiveness and LSU was giving up yardage at an alarming rate?

Unfortunately, this is the price we are going to pay for having a championship program. Just like Alabama, schools will be coming for our assistant coaches. I do hope he stays here however.
